Townsend’s experience in emergency management goes back to 20 years when she served under former President Bush. She’s the Activision Blizzard Corporate Affairs VP. Frances Career in Law

Before joining Baker Botts LLP, Fran served in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) from 2003 to 2004. She was one of the principal representatives of the Department to the executive branch for civil and criminal matters involving both U.S. citizens and legal residents who travel abroad. In addition, she also represented the Department of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the Department of Defense on matters involving the welfare of children.
